Windows Live Writer : First Ten (10) Reactions

I couldn't resist giving Windows Live Writer a test drive.  Here were my initial reactions...

1) You mean I have to install this thing... isn't 'Live' equivalent to 'no installation'?

2) Nice formatting features ... but ... doesn't Outlook already have these?

3) Ok, the blog specific terminology is nice.

4) What happens if I 'publish as a draft'?

5) You've got to be kidding me!  Wow, it actually appears as a 'draft' in Community Server.  That is cool (and useful).  So, I can use the rich features of the Live Writer windows application (when using my computer) and then send it to my blog to complete at a later date on any computer.

6) Nice spell checker ... uh ... you mean I have to click a button?  Guess I've been spoiled with Live Mail.

7) How in the world did it pick up the styles from my blog?

8) What is 'Web Preview' (Shift+F11) ... whoa ... not bad.

9) Does this thing screw up my HTML like most of the other rich text editors? (F12) Guess not, looks nice.

10) It's really quite simple to use.  It has a basic and nescessary feature set.  I think I'm getting addicted.
