What is up with the Telligenti bloggers? It seems like everytime I open my feed reader (~once a day) there are at least ten new posts from Telligenti. A couple months ago I wouldn't have expected to see more than a few new posts. I think it's great and have been enjoying the recent influx of posts. Interesting stats from Markus on his Plentyoffish site. Plentyoffish is run off of one web server, at peak the site gets over 2 million pageviews per hour and has close to 50,000 active sessions. Great use case for ASP.net and IIS.

If you haven't read The World is Flat , at least watch the video of Thomas Friedman talking about his book at MIT. Although the book was originally released in April 2005 and the video is close to an hour, it is well worth your time. Especially if you appreciate the power of technology and its influence in the 21st Century.

First we learn that FeedBurner is extending their web site analytics capabilities and now we learn that Microsoft is creating their own version of web analytics, named Gatineau. When I first signed up for Google Analytics, I really enjoyed it. However, after using it for a while I have found it be lacking in the details. Blog postings are usually much too complex. iInow wonder if effective public postings should be no more than two (2) short paragraphs (preferably one (1)). The stimulant: slashdot. Whenever my RSS reader picks up a new posting from slashdots' RSS feed it is always a short paragraph. Usually makes a single point. If it were any longer, like most blog postings (or summaries), I wouldn't take the time to read it... and would eventually find a different source of information.
